A Research Journal Designed for Researchers
Researchers' Journal of Internal Medicine is a subsidiary of Public Science Journals, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that restructures research publications to put the power in the hands of researchers and readers.

Reimagining Scientific Publishing for Researchers

Truly Open Publishing
At Researchers' Journal of Internal Medicine, we believe that scientific publications should be driven by collaboration, not paywalls or profit. Too often, the work of researchers and reviewers—offered generously and in good faith—is locked behind expensive access fees or article-processing charges.
We’re changing that. Our journal is built on a new model that values transparency, accessibility, and fairness. We offer honorariums to both authors and peer reviewers in recognition of their vital contributions, and we remain committed to keeping science truly open:
Free to submit. Free to publish. Free to read.
A New Way To Publish
Pragmatic Publishing
-
Authors submit their research manuscript for a free-format desk review
-
The editorial board reviews submissions for quality and appropriate aims
-
Approved articles are sent back to the author for formatting and resubmission
-
Authors can either choose standard processing or priority processing. Priority processing is an optional $50 fee which covers: priority editorial attention, $20 honoraria for peer reviewers, and we complete your production form (which formats your article)
-
In a priority processing submission, peer reviewers can elect to receive their honorarium or donate it to a charitable organization
-
All articles go through a standard 2+ peer reviewer evaluation
-
If the article is accepted, the corresponding author can enter an author honorarium agreement
-
All articles are published as open-access via digital-only publications
-
After the first 3,000 article viewers, a $1 per 1,000 viewers honorarium is given to the corresponding author or the nonprofit organization of their choice. Viewers are assessed over the first year following publication.
It's scientific publishing that gives back. Check out our author page for more information.
